We arrived on Wed. and were surprised to be picked up by Lisa's mom, sister and 3 friends from Portugal who were catching a plane later that day...It was so nice to see them!
That evening Lisa's fam. came to celebrate her birthday. On thursday Lisa's sister Judith drove us to Ede (very nice!) and we settled in the house of a friend from church who is on vacation. some visits (at one place a little boy fell on his had, poor him, but it was very funny), some last minute shopping, meeting with support commitee and Stefan broke his glasses. Friday morning, getting new glasses for Stefan, lunch at Mattheo (thanks!) and Pim an Lysbeth wedding....late....
Sat: Lisa sick, could not open her eyes, slept the whole day and pain in throught, Stefan whent to pick up his new glasses. Jaap and Nina came by in evening....(stefan finishes presentation til late)Sund: Lisa better so we go for it again - presentation in church...talked way to long, but got good feedback! :) in Martha's car (thanks) to Limburg. We admired little newborn Havenaar and visited stefan parents and his grandmother.
Now, monday.... sleep in... dissapointed that it rains. we wanted to stay here another day before going to Amsterdam to enjoy the garden...maybe we change and go today to Amsterdam...
